Sybil Argintar Bowers regional survey, "Fences in the Landscape of the Northeast Georgia Mountains"
This collection contains a draft photocopy of Bower's regional survey, "Fences in the Landscape of the Northeast Georgia Mountains" prepared while she worked as a preservation planner for the Georgia Mountains Area Planning and Development Commission (later Georgia Mountains Regional Commission). Bower's survey examines the history of fences in the southeastern states and the types of fences used in northeast Georgia.

Financial records include deeds of purchase for land and enslaved persons, as well as affidavits of sales. Also included is a diary he wrote while working at a Confederate hospital in which he recorded personal notes, information about meetings, records of the weather, and copied obituaries.
